Terms and Conditions

1. Nature of service

Fair Ride is a technology marketplace that connects people offering bike-pool or goods-transport trips with people who need them. Fair Ride: • Does not own, operate, or control any vehicle. • Is not a taxi, cab, or transport company. • Acts only as an intermediary between users.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate registration details. Drivers and goods partners must hold a valid driving licence, vehicle registration, insurance, and any permit required by law.

3. Driver and passenger duties

Drivers must list trips accurately, keep the vehicle roadworthy, obey traffic law, and carry valid documents. Passengers must give correct booking details, arrive on time, behave respectfully, and must not carry illegal items. You are responsible for your own belongings.

4. Goods transport

Goods listings are between the sender and the vehicle operator. Fair Ride does not take possession of goods and is not liable for loss, delay, or damage to cargo.

5. Payments and subscriptions

Fares for a trip are agreed between users. Fair Ride may charge a platform or subscription fee. Subscription payments are processed by Razorpay. Platform fees are non-refundable unless we say otherwise. Drivers are responsible for taxes on their earnings.

6. Cancellations

Users may cancel subject to in-app cancellation rules. Repeated cancellations may lead to suspension.

7. Safety and verification

We may verify identity or documents. Verification does not guarantee another user’s identity, conduct, or safety. You must use your own judgement before any trip.

8. Insurance and liability

Fair Ride does not provide trip insurance. Drivers must maintain their own cover. Fair Ride is not liable for accidents, injury, death, theft, property damage, delays, or disputes between users. You use the Platform at your own risk.

9. Conduct

You must not break the law, harass others, use a fake identity, post false listings, or commit fraud. We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations, safety issues, or fraud, without prior notice.

10. No employment

Nothing in these Terms creates employment, agency, partnership, or joint venture between Fair Ride and any user.

11. Intellectual property

The Fair Ride name, logo, app, and content belong to Fair Ride Technologies Pvt. Ltd. and its licensors.

12. Privacy

Personal data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy at https://fairride.live/privacy.

13. Account deletion

Delete your account at https://fairride.live/delete-account or from the app (Profile → Delete account). See the Privacy Policy for what is deleted and what may be retained.

14. Disputes

Try to resolve disputes amicably first. If not resolved, courts in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India have exclusive jurisdiction. These Terms are governed by the laws of India.

15. Changes

We may change these Terms. Continued use after an update means you accept the new Terms.
